Tap-Along on “How to Remember to Tap” – (Free Tap Along)
By Dr. Patricia Carrington
Strangely, remembering to do the things that are most useful for us can be difficult. This is because something in us does not want to be stopped in its tracks, we don't want to switch gears. Often we need to tap most are when we are rushing to get done those things that are on our agenda at this moment. This reluctance to switch gears, to interrupt even an unpleasant situation by using an intervention that is helpful, is not true just for the energy psychology methods, it is true of any self-help technique that you can name.
We have strong resistance to changing our pace of life and our lifestyles. There are very powerful motivations underlying these lifestyles and at any given moment it may seem absolutely crucial to us to continue doing what we are doing. It may seem extremely undesirable to interrupt it to use the most beneficial possible technique which can, in fact, change things for the better.
In my book Multiply The Power of EFT: 52 New Ways To Use EFT That Most People Don't Know About, I give some very useful suggestions for EFT/tapping reminders, and many readers have appreciated these greatly, however I find that I still have more to do.
I have therefore prepared for you a special Tap-Along for this purpose. Please click on the audio link below to follow along with me by tapping and repeating the phrases that I say.

The Tap Along for Remembering to Do EFT
At the karate chop spot, on the side of your hand, say the setup phrase three times while tapping on this spot.
Even though I don't think of tapping when I am most upset or most in need of it, I choose to let tapping be my friend in a new and more complete way.
And again, still on the karate chop spot:
Even though I don't think of tapping when I am most upset or most in need of it, I choose to let tapping be my friend in a new and more complete way.
And again – still on the karate chop spot –
Even though I don't think of tapping when I am most upset or most in need of it, I choose to let tapping be my friend in a new and more complete way.
Now tap on the inner eyebrow spot.
Inner eyebrow: I just don't think of tapping
Outer eye: My problem is filling my mind.
Under Eye: It seems more important than anything else in the world.
Under Nose: My problem takes precedence.
Under mouth. Words flood my mind.
Collarbone. Sentences tumble one after the other.
Under arm. This must be done!
Top of head. That must be done!
Inner eyebrow. It must be done right now!
Outer eye. I must do this…
Take an easy breath, and let it out slowly….
Under eye. I choose to feel my fingers tapping on the tapping spots…
Under nose. I choose to feel the comfort of the touch of my fingers.
Under mouth. I choose to feel the gentle repetition of the tapping.
Collarbone. I choose the comfort of the touch of my hand.
Under arm. I choose to remember how many times it has brought peace to me.
Top of head. …How many times it has given me solace…
Inner eyebrow. How many times it has made me feel calm…
Outer Eye. How many times it has helped me deeply…
Under eye. I choose to let tapping become a regular part of my day.
Under nose. …Just like eating and sleeping are part of my day…
Under mouth. Just like putting on my clothes or brushing my teeth or picking up the telephone, are part of my day…
Collarbone. When I have a question in mind that makes me feel tense, I choose to think of tapping.
Under arm. When someone speaks to me unpleasantly, I choose to think of tapping at the first chance I will get.
Top of head. When something worries me, I choose to think of tapping…
Inner eyebrow. When something saddens me, I choose to think of tapping…
Outer Eye. When I fear an unfortunate happening, I choose to think of tapping…
Under eye. When I need to make a decision, I choose to think of tapping…
Under nose. Every time I glance at my clock or my watch, I choose to think of tapping.
Under mouth. I choose to get to know tapping more closely.
Collarbone. I choose to let it into my life as a constant friend, always at my side.
Under arm. I choose to think of tapping more and more often.
Top of head. I choose to think of tapping
Take an easy breath, and then let it out slowly.
I suggest that you do this simple tapping routine every day for at least the next two weeks. If you do this you may feel a real shift –something will have changed in your relationship to tapping. When this happens, tapping will give you more support and more help than you probably ever dreamed it would.
I hope you do this.
