For many years, as long as I’ve been a clinical psychologist and active practitioner in the mental health field, I have known that the solution to our problems lies within – that an inner wisdom is always there to assist us beyond what the greatest therapists and teachers in the world can bring to us.

Here’s what happened to me recently…

In April of this year I enrolled in an unusual eight-week online course and found myself immersed in an experience of personal growth that has been the most rapid, intense and transforming of any journey I have ever taken.

As many of you know, I was for many years a researcher in the area of sleep – dream research and the field of modern meditation, and have published many research papers on these subjects.  That means that I’m thoroughly trained in what is known as the “scientific method”. So, when I found myself attracted to an online presentation on “Meeting Your Spirit Guides” I wondered why I had decided to listen to an interview by Darius Barazandeh with someone I had never even heard of by the name of “Gil Alan.”

But when I listened to the presentation I knew immediately that the workshop described in this interview had the potential of extending my own work and life immeasurably in terms of being able to bring people – myself included – into alignment with their own deepest inner self.

However, with typical caution born of my professional training, I resisted the concept of Spirit Guides until I took the course.
