Note: I am using the word "MTT" in this document to refer to all forms of meridian tapping, prominent among which is, of course, is our greatly admired EFT method. I do this because in my work I use the Choices Method extensively (which Gary Craig does not consider a part of traditional EFT), as well as other innovations that fall more properly under the heading of Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT). However, this is a technical distinction which many of you will not need not be concerned about.
Dear "Tapping" Friend,
I want to tell you about a new way of conducting sessions that I find unusually effective.
For three years I did not take on any new clients for individual work because of the heavy time commitments I have in other areas related to energy psychology and I maintained this policy even though many people asked me whether I would consider reinstating individual sessions.
Although this limitation was practical, it had its downside because I find it so deeply rewarding to work with a client on a one-to-one basis where we both can fully "connect". When this occurs, our work on a specific problem gathers momentum until the issue has been explored in depth and then begins to yield to tapping in one of those remarkable ways that can happen with the tapping method.
Because I wanted to approach individual treatment in a more manageable way than before, I developed an approach to it which fits my own and my client's time availability in a very convenient fashion. I tentatively call it Targeted Time-Limited Meridian Tapping.
The aim of this approach is to provide one-hour individual MTT sessions over a relatively short period of time (6 weeks) in order to enable the client to continue effectively on his or her own after our work finishes (unless a specific referral to a practitioner is needed at that point).
In my opinion, this is one of the most desirable forms of treatment for many people because it allows MTT to be applied in a highly targeted manner and provides the client with a "jump start" to resolving their own problem or problems.
This approach also makes it possible to obtain MTT treatment from an expert in a more affordable manner than might otherwise be possible, and avoids some of the pitfalls of long-term therapy. The limited time structure is also highly motivating.
I describe my new course of individual MTT sessions in detail in the FAQ on my website (to which I will link you in a moment) but here are some of the basics you may want to know:
The 6 one-hour weekly individual MTT sessions are conducted by telephone only and some evening sessions are available.
Presently, a few openings have just become available for the next 6 week course of therapy. If you meet the requirements you will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis.
If you are not among those admitted during the first round, but do qualify for admission to this course of treatment, then you will be placed on a waiting list and notified of later openings as they become available.
The fee per session is $197, payable weekly by credit card, PayPal, or check, over the 6 weeks of the treatment. You may be able to obtain partial reimbursement from your insurance carrier (see FAQ).
Each MTT session is recorded electronically as it occurs and is available for downloading within 24 hours of the time we complete the treatment session. I find that replaying the recording and tapping along with me again during the intervening week substantially increases the value of the individual sessions. For those who are Practitioners, this also constitutes a form of professional training.
At the conclusion of each MTT session, I work with you to design homework to do between meetings. Although the homework is optional, it has been my experience that those who follow this plan derive considerable benefit from it.
Isolated single sessions are not available at present. If they become available in the future, this will be announced in my newsletter. No in-person sessions are available during the months of August and September. All sessions are by phone and recordings are supplied to participants, even for those residing in New Jersey.
I am looking forward to meeting with some of you in a new, rewarding relationship as we work together to clear a problem of major importance in your life.
With best wishes,
Pat Carrington
